Maintenance Director

Reporting To: Jake Quigley, Executive Director Hours: Full-time Responsibilities: A working supervisor that plans, develops, organizes, implements and directs the day to day functions of the Plant Operations. Serves on various committees as appointed. Responsible for preventative and ongoing maintenance and overall appearance of the community.   Responsible for leading the department team in responding to residents’ concerns and maintenance requests. Responsible for maintaining records of life safety system maintenance and executing monthly drills and training related to life safety.  Maintains inventory and adheres to department budgetary guidelines. This location is opening early 2018! Qualifications: We require at least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Director in a Senior Living Community. Candidates must have knowledge of building service practices and procedures and regulations for Independent Living Facilities in MA.  Must possess the ability to plan and carry out programs in repair, new construction and equipment installation.  Must be able to lead a team, supervise and mentor staff members. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills and be able to interact with residents and family members. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally. This community has an indoor pool and the application must be willing to obtain Certified Pool Operator certification within 90 days. Must have a flexible schedule as some evenings and weekends will be required on a rotating basis. Life Enrichment Director

Reporting To: Jake Quigley, Executive Director Hours: Full-time   Responsibilities: Responsible for organizing, planning, facilitating and directing the overall operations of the Programming and Activities Department in our Independent Senior Living Community. Provides a creative and social atmosphere throughout the community, promoting resident participation through regularly scheduled programs and guest speakers. Creates, publishes and implements the monthly resident Life Enrichment Calendar. Hires, coordinates and supervises department staff. This position coordinates across departments to include Marketing/Sales and Dining. Transports resident’s to outside events and appointments. This location is opening early 2018! Requirements: Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Must have experience in program development in a senior living community setting or similar setting. Must provide outstanding customer service. Food Service Director / Executive Chef

Responsible for creating dynamic menu options, ordering supplies and adheres to department budget. Responsible for preparation and delivery of meals provided within the community restaurant that is open 7 days per week to an upscale clientele. Hires, schedules and supervises dining department staff. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This location is opening early 2018! Requirements: Experience in food service in a Senior Living Community preferred. Supervisory/management experience required. Culinary degree preferred. Business Office Manager

Reporting To: Jake Quigley, Executive Director Hours: Full-time   Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day management of the business office including: processing payroll, HR functions, employee relations, employee benefits, on-boarding, personnel file maintenance, residents’ personal needs accounts and supervises reception staff. Responsible for accounts payable & accounts receivable. The Business Office Manager is responsible for supervising 24/7 front desk staff. This location is opening early 2018! Requirements: We require a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Living Community. Must be computer proficient and have strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience in ADP Payroll software a plus. Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Move-In Coordinator / Concierge

Reporting To: Executive Director Position Location: Waterstone at The Circle, Boston, MA Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/wk), schedule must be flexible. Responsibilities: The Move-in Coordinator is a support role to the Sales and Marketing team. Responsibilities include: creating move-in packets, coordinating the moving efforts and logistics for new residents entering the community, liaisons with family and team members for transition, provides outstanding customer service to residents and family members during and after the orientation period, communicates with internal departments, assists with tours and marketing events as needed. Qualifications: Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work as a team with and with internal departments. We require exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to problem solve and be able to make decisions. Qualified candidates must exhibit professional, personable and pleasant demeanor. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills and courteous phone etiquette.
